Eco week spring I 19-23.5.2026

🌱 Eco Week – Spring 2026

Hands in the soil · Creativity in the land · Community in motion

Hello garden lovers 🌿

This spring, we invite you once again to step into the rhythms of the land and join us for a week of ecology, hands-on learning and collective creation at Le Moulin d’Abondance.

📅 Dates: Monday 19.05 – Saturday 23.05.2026

The Eco Week – Spring 2026 combines practical outdoor work, theoretical inputs, and shared life in community. We work on the land in real conditions, guided by the season and by experienced facilitators.

🌿 You want to learn?

  • gardening and land-care work adapted to the season

  • soil, plants and ecosystem awareness

  • learning by doing, observing, adjusting

  • understanding natural cycles: growth, balance, regeneration

Expect clear theoretical inputs, followed by lots of hands-on practice outside.

🎨 Special project: Land Art & Festival Magic

A highlight of this spring edition: Land Art.

Together, we will work with natural materials found on site to create temporary art pieces in harmony with the landscape to create a magical decorative setting for this year’s festival stage

This is about beauty, playfulness and presence — letting creativity emerge from the land itself.

🐝 Sunday highlight: Local biodiversity celebration

On Sunday 24.05, there is the option to go together to the
“Festival of the Bee and Biodiversity”
(Fête de l’Abeille et de la Biodiversité)

A joyful way to close the week, connect with the local ecosystem, and celebrate pollinators, diversity and living landscapes beyond the Moulin.

🌱 During this week, you will experience

  • Seasonal ecological work guided by an expert

  • Practical skills in land-care, gardening and creative building

  • Land Art as a collective, embodied process

  • Time to connect deeply with nature and the place

  • Community living: shared meals, evenings, fire, music, stories, sauna

  • A balance of learning, doing and simply being

🪲 Languages

English (main language), French / German translation available

🌿 Practical information

  • Places: limited to 15 people (quality over quantity)

  • Sleeping: shared rooms inside or unheated outdoor dorm, bring your sleeping bag

  • Food: shared co-created meals

💚 Contribution

The Eco Week runs on a pay-what-you-wish basis.
At the end of the week, you take time to reflect on the experience and contribute what feels fair to you — in cash or by card before departure.

🌱 Who is this for?

If you feel called to:

  • are interested in permaculture and working with the land
  • work with the land rather than on it

  • learn through practice and presence

  • contribute to a living place and leave a trace

  • be part of a temporary, intentional community

…then this Eco Week is for you.
