Hello garden lovers
🌸🌷
We are excited to invite you to this year’s Spring Garden Week!
In this format we focus on extenting our theoretical and practical skills by creating a new project every time.
🪻This spring’s project: A New Herbal Garden
We will create a herbal garden that blends naturally into the landscape of Le Moulin d’Abondance. Inspired by local flora and traditional knowledge, it will become a diverse space for medicinal herbs and flowers — offering natural remedies, beauty, and a place to reconnect with the healing power of plants.
🪻During this week, you will learn:
- Design and create a herbal garden in harmony with the land
- Learn about microhabitats and microclimats
-
Build a dry stone wall as main structure
-
What else the spring season demands of a garden: key tasks for spring maintenance, practical gardening techniques to prepare the soil and plants for a generous and healthy harvest
-
Principles of organic gardening
-
How to work with natural cycles
-
How to observe and collaborate with nature
A week full of hands-on experience, inspiring theory and time to connect with the land.

🪻Your expert this week: Sarah
With roots in landscape architecture and years of experience as an organic gardener, Sarah guides the land at Le Moulin d’Abondance. For the Spring Garden Week, she will bring her professionalism to create a rich week of inspiring theory and hands-on practical skills, inviting participants to reconnect with nature and grow with the land.
